Through strategic advising, leadership development, professional learning, and keynote speaking, Dr. Jen Hernandez combines bold strategy with corazón to help leaders build equitable, sustainable systems that create lasting impact. Our mission is to provide bold and culturally rooted training, coaching, mentorship, and speaking services to empower individuals and communities.
About Dr. Jen:
Dr. Jen Hernandez is a bilingual educator, equity strategist, school building leader and former district leader with over 20 years of experience serving multilingual students and their families. A first-generation Latina and daughter of immigrants, she brings a deep understanding of what it means to navigate and lead in multiple worlds. As the founder of Con Ganas Education, LLC, she partners with schools, districts, and organizations to build culturally sustaining systems rooted in language, belonging, and liberation. Her work has led to transformative results, including increasing WIDA exit rates by 2500% and growing family engagement events from 15 to over 300 attendees. Dr. Jen is also the host of Dr. Jen Flips the System, a podcast uplifting stories of resistance, reimagination, and radical love in education.
Her doctoral research explores the conditions that help leaders of color attain, sustain, and thrive in leadership. That work continues to shape her approach to leadership development, mentoring, and systems transformation, helping organizations cultivate cultures where both students and leaders can flourish. This research deeply informs her work with human resources teams and leadership development, particularly in designing professional learning and workplace systems that foster belonging, mentorship, and culturally sustaining pathways to leadership.
