The Heart Behind The Work
I spent years trying to figure out how to lead while carrying the invisible weight of being the only Latina—or one of very few leaders of color—in the room.
Like many leaders, I learned through trial and error. But as a first-generation Latina, daughter of immigrants, and bilingual educator, I also navigated the unspoken expectations, isolation, and self-doubt that often accompany leadership when you don't see yourself reflected at the decision-making table.
That experience ultimately became the focus of my doctoral research, Con Ganas, which explored the conditions necessary to attain and retain leaders of color in educational leadership.
Today, I partner with aspiring and current leaders to help them build confidence, navigate complex systems, lead authentically, and thrive without sacrificing who they are. Whether through one-on-one coaching, cohort facilitation, mentorship, or organizational leadership development, my goal is simple:
To help leaders grow into the leaders they were always capable of becoming.
